Plan a Field Trip

Bring learning to life and give your students exciting experiences in science, history, culture and beyond with a field trip to the Putnam!

The Science Center’s 45+ interactive stations will help your students understand and apply science concepts as they explore the power of electricity, allow their imaginations to soar with art and animation, and even go back in time while digging for dinosaur bones!

Students will be immersed in the history and ecology of the Quad Cities. And no visit to the Putnam is complete without a National Geographic GIANT Screen theater educational documentary. Plan your visit today!

We wish to thank Alcoa – Davenport Works, Doris & Victor Day Foundation Inc., Scott County Regional Authority, Riverboat Development Authority, Rock Island Community Foundation, Rauch Family Foundation I and participants of the 2014 Mad Scientist Ball for providing funds that assist our school visitors with educational field trips and programs this school year.
