Explore science with Putnamology!

What do you get when you combine science with fun? Putnamology! Explore hands-on science with local science experts in engineering, healthcare, agriculture, and building trades! Putnamology is a series of eight interactive learning workshops designed specifically for kids ages 10 and up to share with an adult. It’s early immersion into the world of science!

The 2010-11 Putnamology series kicks off September 18 with a kite building session taught by James Patton, founder of the Quad Cities Kite Festival. Upcoming workshops include the popular LEGO League and Battle of the Bridges challenges taught by the Quad City Engineering and Science Council; healthcare programs taught by Trinity Regional Health System; and an agriculture-focused program taught by Monsanto and more! The series runs each month through April.

Cost is $7 per child/adult pair per session.

Putnam members receive discounted rate.

This popular workshop series fills up fast so secure your junior scientist’s spot today! Special thanks to those community partners for their expertise that allows the Putnam to offer these unique science-based workshops!
